CSR Spotlight: Premiership Rugby Launches "Move Like a Pro"

Premiership Rugby has a history of giving back to the community with their Movember drive last year raising over £41,000 for men's health. Now, the organisation has launched a new programme, Move Like a Pro, that gives rugby fans the opportunity to participate in a free 12-week physical activity course online or at their local Premiership Rugby club session with trained staff members.

Premiership Rugby Move Like a Pro

The goal of Move Like a Pro is to get more men across England to be active and healthy. Premiership Rugby's community and corporate social responsibility director, Wayne Morris, is confident this new programme will be successful due to the fact that it has the support of all 12 rugby clubs.

The programme's website will allow any Premiership Rugby fans to sign up to participate in its exercise plans. In addition, the website provides tips on healthy eating, including recipes and nutrition information, to promote healthy lifestyle choices.

Obesity is a rising health concern throughout England, and Premiership Rugby hopes to give back by serving as the first step for their fans to begin a journey to active, healthy living. The organisation has a long history of working with the Movember Foundation, which is dedicated to improving men's health. Move Like a Pro is a new, innovative way for Premiership Rugby to show their support for the Movember Foundation's initiatives and affect positive change in the health of their fans.
